Mainers for Local Power (MLP) PAC believes Mainers should be able to make their own decisions about their energy future — free from foreign interference. The foreign backers of the Central Maine Power (CMP) Corridor, including the Spanish conglomerate that owns CMP, have poured unprecedented millions of dollars into Maine in an attempt to deceive voters and force through this project that would disrupt Maine communities, recreational areas and landscapes. MLP PAC stands with the overwhelming majority of Maine voters in opposing the CMP Corridor — which is a good deal for Spain and a bad deal for Maine.
